Not an eagle, but a falcon (I think. Please correct me if I am wrong!).
On 13 August 2013, which was in fact an Eagle day (though 5 Eagle, not 6 Eagle)
we were in the Isle of Wight visiting the fabulous Garlic Farm.
The Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre had a small display in the fields nearby.
Laurence was able to do one of the things he really, really wanted to do –
to commune with a falcon (or a similar bird of prey).
They looked at each other for a long time;
LjL was in awe and bubbling with joy, while the falcon seemed equally fascinated!
