The picture above is a reminder that it is only a few days to The Day of the Dead; a spectacular evocation as I remember it from my visit to Mexico in 1996. Cigarettes, alcohol, flowers and chocolate are all offered up to the ancestors and you really feel the energy as a tangible communion between both sides of the veil
